Neill Blomkamp is making a new Alien film for the franchise that completely ignores Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection!
Hopefully it will also ignore the two AVP films and Prometheus as well.
I will pay very good money to have Blomkamp's movie start with Ripley waking out of hypersleep to a very much alive Newt and Hicks and hear her say, "I had these weird dreams about a prison and a future earth."
