Repeat After Me, Children

This is NOT professional.

This morning I sent e-mails out to local recording studios asking to see samples of demo tapes for a personal project of mine, but there is one studio I'm not even going to approach. They list themselves as such:

Company Overview:

  • We drink at work.
  • We tell dirty jokes.
  • Yea, we also make records,
  • Cool records with artists from around the world.
  • That is what's up.

Yeah. This is what I've always wanted. Foul-mouthed drunks mixing a demo CD that my life and career hinges on.

I'm stunned these clowns are still in business.

I'll be surprised if no one tels you that you just need to "unbend" or the like; that attitude seems entirely too popular on the Internet and in entertainment media these days.

That stated, I agree on the "avoid them".

It's Called KEWL!!! and EDGY!!!
Like those two wanna-be rappers who recorded that "This is Mixxie" video in their bedroom, showing how Gangsta Dey Be.

I wouldn't be surprised to learn this studio's "artists from around the world" are all Punk or Rap.
