On Mon, Dec 31, 2007 I submitted a 3,250-word story to an independent press for consideration in one of their anthologies.
Today, I signed and returned a contract A YEAR AND A HALF later for the story's inclusion.
I will be paid a whopping $10.00 or .003 cents a word.
My co-writer Ken Pick was right. The depression-era pulp writers made more than this.
